About Dr. Bob Sears

Robert W. Sears, MD, son of Dr. Bill Sears, is co-author of The Updated Baby Book and an active contributor to AskDrSears.com. Board-certified in Pediatrics, he is in private practice with his father and his brother, Dr. Jim, in San Clemente, CA. "Dr. Bob", as he likes to be called by his little patients, earned his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1995. He did his pediatric internship and residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and is a medical advisor to CBR Systems, Inc. Dr. Bob is the proud father of three boys, Andrew, age 10, Alex, age 7, and Joshua born February 2002. He and his wife, Cheryl, reside in Dana Point, CA. Cheryl Sears is an active La Leche League leader, helping countless new moms in the community to successfully breastfeed their babies.
