Week 2 - Make an Appointment With Your Doctor

The best time to prepare your body to support a baby is now, before you conceive.

If you are a junk food junkie, put down those doughnuts and start eating a well-balanced diet of lean protein, whole grains, and fresh fruits and vegetables.

And be sure to drink 64 ounces of water each day. Talk to your doctor about a safe exercise program to go with your healthy diet and begin it right away. While you are at your doctor's appointment, ask him or her to prescribe a good prenatal vitamin for you and be sure to take them regularly. Your body and your baby will thank you for taking such good care of them before, during, and after your pregnancy!
