Pregnancy-related insomnia may start to affect your daily routine, but there are things you can do to help. Make sure you always go to the bathroom before you go to bed so you won't be awakened in the middle of the night. Try using a body pillow or arrange several pillows in different places under your chest, abdomen or between your knees - whatever arrangement is most comfortable for you. Take a warm bath or read before bed to relax you further, and try doing some stretches and exercises to help relieve muscle and ligament pain and pressure that may be disrupting your sleep.
