Healing Pregnancy Meditation
This meditation is especially good for women with high risk pregnancies or who are worried about their baby's state of being. Green light is a healing light.
Sit in a cross-legged pose for this meditation. Close your eyes and begin breathing deeply. Feel the breath fill your diaphragm and bring fresh oxygen to your baby. Simply breathe deeply for a few minutes until you are completely focused only on your breath.
Place your right hand over your heart chakra, which is in the middle of your chest, between your breasts.
Place your left hand on your womb.
Now imagine a glowing green light budding in your heart. As you inhale, the light expands; as you exhale, it recedes.
Keep breathing while imagining the green light growing. Let it grow to envelop your unborn baby like a bubble.
Let it grow until it is larger than you and encompasses both sides of you, as if you are now floating in this light green bubble.
Now slowly imagine the bubble getting smaller but brighter as you breathe in and out. It shrinks to the size of your midsection and then becomes encapsulated within your heart.
Take your hands off of your heart chakra and womb and just sit with your palms open, concentrating on your breath until you feel completely relaxed and ready to end the meditation.
