Fertility Calendar
What is the Fertility Calendar?
The Fertility Calendar is a personalized calendar used to track the most fertile days of your cycle using your menstrual cycle information. There are many ways to figure these days out, but we have used the rhythm method, also known as calendar charting, to calculate a wide window of days in which you can try to conceive.

How can I get my Fertility Calendar to reflect my cycle?
There are two ways to save your menstrual cycle information to reflect your fertile days. You can either go to My Account and enter your personal cycle information in the "My Cycle" section or go to the Fertility Calendar tab and enter your information into the highlighted fields. Once you've entered in the "First Day of Last Menstrual Period" and either "Average Cycle Days" or "Shortest" and "Longest" Cycle Days, your calendar should display your cycle according to the calendar days.

I've entered my menstrual cycle information into the Fertility Calendar, but what do the symbols represent?

  • The star represents the first day of your cycle.
  • The first day of your cycle is always day one (CD1) of your menstrual period
  • CD stands for Cycle Day
  • The new cycle begins again with CD1; however if your cycle was a little longer or shorter this month then enter in your new 1st Day of Menstrual Period and the calendar will adjust to your new cycle
  • The boxed cycle days represent your fertile days
  • The green highlighted day is the current day of the month
Will I definitely get pregnant on one of my fertile days?
We do not guarantee that you'll get pregnant based off of the fertile days of our Fertility Calendar. We provide this calendar as a helpful tool to our subscribers when trying to conceive. The fertility window is so large because women tend to be fertile a few days before and after they ovulate. Please do not solely rely on our calendar or feel pressured to follow it. There are many other ways of charting your fertility such as tracking your basal body temperature and cervical mucus. Using a combination of these methods will help you to target your most fertile days and allow you to feel more confident with your charting!

    My Story
    What is My Story?
My Story is a communal space for women and couples to share their fertility story. Once you have written your story, it appears in blog form for others to read and comment on. As a member you can read others' stories, add your personal comments, and rate entries. This space is dedicated to providing our members with a place to share their personal highs and lows of trying to conceive and to identify with each other's struggles and successes.
Can I update My Own Story?
Yes, you can edit or delete your own story at any time. All you have to do is click on the edit button in your story page. We strongly recommend our members add to their story by editing their current entry. We prefer My Story to be a place where members can read new and old stories, and not daily journal excerpts.
    What Are Tags?
Tags are relevant keywords or terms associated with each story. To add a tag to your story, type in the keywords or topics in the "tag" area of the post. The tag cloud located on the right of the My Story page displays a range of topics mentioned in recent posts. This allows you to locate quickly all pages which have been associated with that specific tag. Just click on the tag you are interested in to view an aggregate list of stories tagged with that keyword or topic. The larger the font size of the tag, the more frequent the keyword or topic has been mentioned in previous posts.
