First Year Well-Baby Check-Ups

Pediatric well-baby check-ups are an important part of your baby's first year of life. These periodic, routine appointments will help keep your baby healthy and ensure he or she is developing properly. At each appointment, the pediatrician will perform a complete physical exam, which includes measuring your baby's height, weight, and head circumference; and he or she will ask you about your baby's general health and development. These appointments are also the perfect time to address any concerns or questions you may have about your baby with the doctor.
